We think that we have an idea that just may warrant further product development but we need your help to gather the evidence to support our theory.
We have preached and preached about how your website should be a central hub, or primary location, from which the dissemination of information should take place. And everyone (at least here) knows that WordPress is the perfect platform from which to build a website.
Built correctly, the website will attract ideal clients and customers for any freelancer's services and products. It will build a reputation as an authority, construct credibility, and demonstrate and validate industry knowledge and technical currency. Websites explain the who you are and who you want to work with and should prequalify customers and clients so that the right people - buying people - are attracted to it.
Most importantly, we know that your website is the key to your marketing process.
It is interesting then, that many freelancers do not focus on their own website but rather focus on their clients and customers. Granted, there's a lot to be said for placing the priority on your customers and clients. And there is no doubt that your clients and customers payments are what allow you to be a freelancer in the first place.
However, if you are a freelancer and the majority of your time is working on your client’s websites, how do you plan to scale your business and continue to attract more clients? What actions are you taking when it comes to consistently market your freelancing services and products? What regular content are you providing that will contribute to the marketing > attracting > converting flow?
We think we might have identified a solution to this inherit freelancing problem but we want to make sure we get it right.
We already have a good idea as far as what kind of interest there might be in what we are considering for development and we already have an idea for how we can make our solution be the one that you will choose because it is something that no one has done or is yet doing.
But before we can decide to take our idea to the next level, we need your help with providing us with the evidence to support our idea. So, we are collecting information from our readers to find out what it is YOU really want and need.
We'd like to get this out to as many people as possible.
